F Coffee is one of my favorite tea shops. I spent a lot of time there when it first opened. A year later, I don’t go there as much anymore. The hygiene is bad, they smoke too much. When I leave there I smell like an ashtray. I also realized their tea is not that great. Anyway, it’s my second time doing an impromptu photoshoot at F Coffee.
So, as you can see, I am using my natural hair now. This has not been an easy journey. Finding the right products is such a headache! I wasn’t in the mood to comb my hair that day, so I just made this Minnie Mouse hairdo you see in the picture. One of my teachers likes F Coffee as well. I’ve run into him there from time to time. He thought my hairstyle was so stylish and funny at the same time, he asked me if I wanted to pose for some pics.
F Coffee seems to be the place for unplanned photoshoots. The first pictures were taken over a year ago by Stranger Girl. Click here to see those pics.
I never really liked taking pictures before. Selfies I like, because I can choose when (I think) I look good enough, then I snap away. But sitting in front of an actual person looking at you through a lense makes me feel kind of exposed. It makes me feel uncomfortable in a way I cannot describe. This is the second time I willingly posed for someone and I felt great doing it. There was absolutely no pressure.
You’d think posing for pictures in a cafe would be weird, right? Not in China. Have I already mentioned that Chinese people take more selfies than all the Kardashian/Jenner sisters combined? It was not weird at all, just another day in China. F Coffee personnel even gave me some tips. Though I don’t like this picture too much, my teacher said he thinks this is the best one. Well, I guess I need to look at it through his eyes then.
I liked these pictures so much, I made an appointment with my teacher for a private shoot. Well, we’ll be outdoors in a park, so it won’t be that private. One of my friends might join me, that could turn out to be a fun day. Now I just concentrate on my finals, they start five days from now. OY VEY!
